Hello and welcome!
My name’s Dale Coulombe. I am a photographer and graphic designer from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I’ve had a love of nature instilled in me by my parents who also love the outdoors. My Mom has always loved plants and flowers and maintains a beautiful flower garden, whilst my Dad has always had a huge love and appreciation of wildlife and the wilderness in general. Naturally, those passions of theirs have made their way over to me. I take any chance I can get to practice photography. I focus more on wildlife, but I also love photographing plants, flowers, and landscapes. If it's nature related, I'm in! In my past, I've also photographed architecture and urban landscapes, portraits, a few weddings, and food. Trying different subject matter was helpful to me in learning as much as possible about working with a camera and the challenges that each subject matter brings.
More than anything, I strive to capture engaging photographs that I believe would be well suited as an art piece. I'll always favour a beautiful photo of a common subject over an okay photo of a rare one.

Education:
I studied graphic design in college and have taken a photography class at Prairie View photography school in Winnipeg. Much of what I've learned is self-taught via online learning. My quest for education is a continuous one though.
